1) salt basic lead salt generally has excellent heat resistance and weather resistance, good electrical insulation, low cost, but poor transparency and toxicity. Mainly used for opaque PV hard and soft products.

             2) the initial stability of barium, calcium, magnesium and other stabilizers in the metal soap is small, and the long-term heat resistance is good. However, cadmium and zinc are stable at the initial stage and have a long period of heat resistance. Therefore, these two types of metal soap are usually used together. Barium soap and cadmium soap are widely used in PVC soft products and soft transparent products. Calcium soap and zinc soap are mainly used in PVC soft and non-toxic products.

          The compound stabilizer commonly used at present is the liquid compound stabilizer composed of barium, cadmium, zinc, calcium and other metal soap and salt as the main body, with the auxiliary stabilizer and solvent such as phosphatide. Compared with the solid metal soap, the liquid composite stabilizer is much better with the resin and plasticizer, the transparency is better, the dosage is less, the precipitation is not easy, and the dust poisoning can be avoided.

          3) the fatty acid tin and weather resistance of the dialkyl in organic tin stabilizer are less than that of tin maleate and monoester, but the lubrication is good and the irritation is smaller. The organic tin stabilizer containing sulfur is the best and stink, mainly used in various transparent PVC products, especially hard and transparent products.

            Should be noted that lead, cadmium, barium salt or soap has a certain toxicity, have to use them with a maximum allowable content regulation, such as the world health organization and the United States, Japan and other countries of copper content in drinking water must be below 0.01 PPM, so restricting the application of the cadmium stabilizers in this respect. In addition, lead salt and copper soap and barium soap dust poisoning will also occur in the stabilizer production plant and plastic processing plant. Changing the shape of the stabilizer is an effective measure. If the lead salt stabilizer is made into granule and the soap stabilizer is made into liquid complex, it can eliminate the worry of dust poisoning.
